Job Summary:

As a Pre Owned Car Evaluator, your primary responsibility is to conduct thorough assessments of pre-owned vehicles to determine their condition, market value, and necessary repairs. You will work closely with the sales and service teams to ensure each vehicle meets RAAM Groups quality standards and is competitively priced for the market.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform detailed inspections of pre-owned vehicles covering mechanical, electrical, interior, and exterior aspects.
• Conduct test drives and use diagnostic tools to assess vehicle performance and identify potential issues.
• Evaluate vehicle history and maintenance records to ensure transparency and reliability.
• Document inspection findings and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports for each vehicle.
• Collaborate with the sales team to determine appropriate pricing strategies based on vehicle condition and market trends.
• Recommend necessary repairs or maintenance to enhance vehicle quality and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all evaluations adhere to RAAM Group’s quality standards and industry best practices.
• Work in tandem with the service department to coordinate reconditioning efforts for pre-owned vehicles.
• Maintain updated records of evaluations, test drives, and pricing adjustments.
• Provide insights and feedback for continuous improvement of the vehicle evaluation process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive evaluation, inspection, or a related field.
• Diploma or degree in automotive technology, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Strong technical and diagnostic skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and report-writing abilities.
• Proficient in using automotive diagnostic tools and software.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
