Job description
R. Arora & Associates is looking at the hiring of 2 Audit Executives/Accountants with at least 1-3 years of experience, who will be responsible for the execution of the below tasks. The resource should be a graduate in Commerce with working knowledge of Internal Audit, GST &TDS law and shall be directly assisting a Chartered Accountant.
The major time of one of the resource(s) will be spent working/auditing for Large Milk Co-operative in India from their office location in Janakpuri.
The other will be based in Connaught Place.
Key Responsibilities Areas (KRA):
a) Vouching and verification of the sale, purchase, cash payment, cash receipt, bank payment, bank receipt, debit note, credit note, etc. to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
b) Payroll Management- Review of Payroll including PF and ESI norms, verifying expense reports, and preparing monthly pay slips.
c) GST: Verification of GST Returns GSTR-1, GSTR-3B & annual returns GSTR9 & GSTR9C, reconciliation of books with GSTR-2B/GSTR-2A, filing GST Refunds application (RFD-01) etc.
d) TDS: Review of TDS, determination of liability to be paid, Quarterly TDS return.
e) Management of Accounts Payable - Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc., preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports, Supervise reconciliation of vendor accounts and their balances
f) Management of Accounts Receivable - Monitoring accounts to identify overdue payments, keeping accurate records and reporting on collection activity, taking actions to encourage timely debt payments, reporting on collection activity and accounts receivable status
g) Invoice-related Responsibilities - Tracking, reviewing, approving, and issuing sale invoices, verifying tax information, responding to billing questions from customers, Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges
h) Reconciliation: Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation, interunit reconciliation, debtors & creditors reconciliation etc.
The candidate should have good knowledge of working on MS Excel Vlookup, Pivot, etc. Good verbal communication skills. Good written communication skills to handle independent letter/ email writing.
