National Retail Operations Manager (6-11 yrs)

One of our clients, a large conglomerate in the retail segment, is looking for a Retail Head.

Job Purpose:

- To lead the Retail operation team towards achieving the business results for the retail channel of the brand along with pro-actively contributing to the formulation and direction of the retail strategy along with driving best in class retail initiatives across geographies.

The key challenges of the role include:

1. Interacting with the various departments of retail, buying & merchandising, VM and projects for driving common objectives.

2. Need for speed in the market place/ ability to take quick decisions.

3. Providing a consistent quality service catering to the demands of all customers is a key challenge due to the spread of retail. To attain this there is a need to hire right people, staff other locations, train them and rely on them to do the job right.

4. Loss prevention strategies and programs to be promoted for preventing shrinkage,

5. Create systems & processes for the vast and valuable information from stores to:

- Collect it quickly, reliably, and efficiently.

- Analyze it to make sense of the past and plan future decisions.

- Distribute it to the right people in the organization so they can act on it.

- Effective & influential relationship building to drive Franchisee Management.

- Need candidates from retail, managing multiple states, as this is a PAN INDIA role.
