Job Description
- Successful candidate will design, develop fix software in the Linux Upstream WiFi stack
- Engage with the Linux Upstream Community experts and ensure their changes are Upstream integrated
- Ownthe quality of the Upstream software
- Schedule own tasks, participate in SW planning and report progress to project leader
Work Experience
- Bachelorof Masterdegree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering
- Atleast 8 years of experience as a System Software Programmer
- Expert in C programming, Linux Kernel Device Drivers
- Working knowledge of WiFi (IEEE 802.11) protocol stack
- Linux Kernel Upstream experience is mandatory
- Passion to work with Open-Source community
- Ability to provide technical guidance leadership to junior engineers in the team
- Past track record of successful Upstreaming of Linux Kernel patches
- Experience working with multi-site and cross-functional teams
- Successful candidate will design, develop fix software in the Linux Upstream WiFi stack
