About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team. You will play a crucial role in developing, customizing, and maintaining our Shopify stores, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer experience.

This role requires a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, including Liquid, APIs, app integrations, and customizations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues, implementing new features, and collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Shopify Development : Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and functionalities, leveraging Liquid, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- API Integration : Integrate Shopify stores with third-party applications using Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL).

- App Development & Customization : Work with existing Shopify apps, customize them as needed, and potentially develop custom apps.

- Troubleshooting & Debugging : Proactively identify and resolve bugs and issues in live environments with a quick turnaround time.

- Performance Optimization : Optimize Shopify stores for speed, performance, and scalability.

- SDLC Adherence : Follow established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

- Collaboration : Work closely with the e-commerce team, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to ensure a cohesive and effective user experience.

- Communication : Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Shopify Expertise : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Shopify platform, including new features, updates, and best practices.

- Problem Solving : Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills :

- Shopify Platform Expertise : Extensive experience with the Shopify platform, including Liquid templating language, theme development, and app integration.

- Front-End Development : Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- API Integration : Experience working with Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL).

- Shopify Object/Properties : Deep understanding of Shopify's object/properties.

- AJAX API : Experience with the AJAX API.

- SDLC Processes : Familiarity with software development methodologies (e., Agile, Waterfall).

- Version Control : Experience with Git or other version control systems.

- E-commerce Platform Experience : Background in e-commerce preferred.

- Shopify App Familiarity : Knowledge of popular Shopify apps is a plus.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

- 5-6 years of proven experience as a Shopify Developer (Mandatory).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
