Role & responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Execute database testing using SQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to understand requirements and improve product quality.
• Work with Agile teams and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to the automation framework development using Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards in testing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in software testing (manual & automation).
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Experience in API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
• Good understanding of SQL for database testing.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.
• Basic scripting knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript is preferred.

• Candidate should be comfortable working night shifts
