Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing sales, a deep understanding of AWS offerings, and the ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders. This role requires a blend of consultative selling, technical knowledge, and relationship management skills to accelerate business growth


Candidate credentials

  • B.Tech or a related field. AWS certifications are a plus.

Experience

  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Proven track record in sales, particularly within cloud computing or IT solutions, with a focus on AWS.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and effectively manage client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities for AWS cloud solutions.
  • Develop a strong sales pipeline by targeting enterprises and mid-sized businesses.
  • Engage with clients to understand their cloud adoption goals and challenges.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to define sales strategies and revenue goals.
  • Propose tailored AWS cloud solutions that align with client needs and business objectives.
  • Drive the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract closure.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, IT leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights into AWS capabilities and best practices.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Technical Collaboration:

  • Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to design and propose the best-fit AWS architecture for clients.
  • Keep up-to-date with AWS product offerings, services, and certifications to advise clients effectively.
