Senior Software Developer - Onesource

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Consultant with a strong background in OneSource Indirect Tax (Sabrix) integration. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8+ years of experience in implementing tax solutions within SAP environments. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, configuring and integrating tax engines, and providing post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements related to indirect tax processes.

• Tax Solution Implementation: Implement and configure tax solutions, both native and external (OneSource), ensuring seamless integration with SAP systems.

• Tax Scenario Mapping: Map complex tax scenarios to the Sabrix Tax engine, ensuring accurate tax determination and compliance.

• System Integration: Configure Global Next Software to integrate SAP with the tax engine using the /IDT namespace.

• System Configuration: Set up company codes in the Sabrix system, create custom rules and rates, transaction editors, reference lists, and tax code qualifiers.

• Testing and Validation: Validate test results by comparing them with standard tax calculation outcomes to ensure accuracy.

• Cutover and Support: Manage production cutover activities and provide post-go-live support, particularly in S/4HANA environments with integrated tax applications.

• Custom Solution Development: Develop custom solutions on SAP and OneSource platforms to meet specific business needs.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 to 8+ years of experience in OneSource Indirect Tax (Sabrix) and SAP modules.

• SAP Modules: Experience in any SAP module is acceptable; however, experience with SAP FICO is preferred.

• S/4HANA Experience: Experience with S/4HANA is advantageous.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring tax engines, integrating SAP with external tax solutions, and developing custom solutions.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead requirement-gathering sessions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional Tools: Knowledge of Business Objects Data Services (BODS) is a plus.
