Indicative Job Description:

• Develop and prepare spreadsheets and models to support analysis of new and existing credit applications
• Conduct thorough analysis of financial statements, project documents, etc and assessment of credit requests, including new requests, modification requests, refinancing and periodic due diligence
• Prepare credit approval memorandum, including recommendations tied to analysis and assessment of credit risk
• Initiate credit risk rating for new and existing credit accounts
• Address queries from Risk Team to enable timely assignment of risk ratings and risk report by Risk Team
• Present analysis, findings, and recommendations to supervisors
• Keep up to date with the companys lending policies
• Coordinate with other departments for smooth flow of information relating to credit function
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth disbursements
• Identify potential weaknesses in existing credit accounts and take steps for timely resolution
• Ensure smooth submission of information to Board / Board committees for matters related to credit functionRole & responsibilities

Other requirements:

Strong financial modelling skills

Understanding of regulatory guidelines

Excellent analytical skills; Impeccable understanding of financial statements, ratios, and concepts

Strong attention to detail and ability to notice discrepancies in data

Strong proficiency in MS Office and general computer use

Ability to work under tight timelines in a competitive environment

Strong team player

Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
