Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr Business Development Associate to drive sales and expand our market presence in the ship spare parts industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of  B2b sales, online lead generation, building customer-relationships remotely, email marketing and product marketing. The ideal candidate will take home roughly 25-50% of fixed salary as monthly variable pay.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Growth:

1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the marine spare parts market.

2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers

3. Drive revenue growth for owned and traded ship spares, guided by sales targets

4. Act as single point of contact from sales side from lead generation to deal closure.

5. Maintain a list of high-value equipment owned by the company.

Market & Competitor Analysis:

1. Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor strategies, and potential areas for expansion.

2. Analyze pricing, demand, and supplier capabilities to offer the best solutions to clients.

Operational & Strategic Planning:

1. Work closely with internal teams (procurement, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth business operations.

2. Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve business objectives.

3. Craft marketing plan together with Director, Business-Development across paid and free channels of marketing.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, remote sales.
• Dilignece and perseverence to track deals over long sales cycles
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
• Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
• Experience with international trade, import/export regulations, and logistics is a plus.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and ERP systems including Zoho
