Bookkeeper (Overnight Shift only : 9pm To 5:30am IST)

This operation is based in the US, so the employee will be required to work from 9pm to 5:30am IST. Strong verbal and written English skills are a necessity.

Role & responsibilities

• Capture terminations, adding new parkers, and applying various types of payments into Zephire (customer database)
• Create invoices/adjustments.
• Entering daily shift reporting into Geneva (transient database)
• Conduct over/under audits and review of unaccounted ticket percentages.
• Perform general entry bookkeeping.
• Manage cash receipts to capture gross revenues for client reporting.
• Generate Aging Reports.
• Complete required month-end reports.
• Maintain regular communication with manager and other staff and assist as needed.
• Perform other tasks as developed and assigned by company management.
• Answer phone and assist customers with any problems immediately.

Must haves

• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience - including experience managing A/R, A/P, and performing audit functions.
• Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to work at a desk or computer terminal for extended periods of time.

Good to haves:

• Experience in parking or hospitality industry.
• Customer service experience.
