Python Developer Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python-based applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to translate user requirements into functional code.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and libraries into existing applications.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot/debug issues as they arise.
• Design and implement data storage solutions (SQL and NoSQL databases).
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to development best practices and coding standards.
• Write and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Stay updated on the latest Python frameworks, libraries, and industry trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Python Developer (5+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with at least one Python web framework (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and third-party API integration.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest or Unittest.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a bonus.
