Candidates Senior Software Engineer (Power BI )
Job Description:PrimeSoft is seeking Power BI Developer with experience working on Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, NoSQL databases. Spark-SQL, API knowledge to design, build, and maintain data models and visualizations to create informative dashboards.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Design, build, and maintain data models and visualizations to create informative dashboards.
• Deliver complex, interactive dashboards that meet business requirements with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
• Leverage expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query) and tools like Report Builder, TSQL, and MDX for efficient dashboard creation and optimization.
• Provide guidance on best practices for visualization techniques, dashboard performance, and data model optimization.
• Manage and support dashboards in production, including QA/UAT processes to ensure functionality and data integrity.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business needs into data insights.
• Work on ETL processes and advanced data analysis using SQL.
• Utilize cloud data platforms like Azure for data solutions.

Ideal Candidate should have

• Bachelors degree in information systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent certifications.
• 6+ years of experience with Power BI, including advanced data modeling, DAX, and dashboard deployment.
• 2+ years of experience supporting complex dashboards in production environments.
• Expertise in SQL, handling large datasets, and relational database design.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and cloud data platforms.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills to develop data models and actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Mandatory Skills:1.Power BI: Advanced data modeling, DAX, Power Query.2.SQL: Querying, data manipulation, and handling large datasets.3.Azure: Proficiency Azure fundamental services, experience in Data Factory and Databricks.4.ETL processes and scripting.5.Excellent oral and written communication skills

Relevant Experience1.Proven expertise in dashboard development, optimization, and production management.2.Strong background in cloud-based data solutions (Azure preferred).3.Experience working with business and technology teams in a consulting or in-house role.
