Oracle Sql Developer

We are seeking an experienced Oracle SQL Developer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in database development, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the banking or securities domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Design and implement database schemas, including tables, views, indexes, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and performance of the database systems.
• Analyze existing database structures and recommend improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
• Support and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure minimal impact on business operations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to database solutions and processes.
• Participate in code reviews, best practices, and maintain coding standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in Oracle SQL development.
• Experience in Oracle PL/SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, packages, and functions.
• Good knowledge of database design.
• Experience in query optimization and resolving performance-related issues.
• Hands-on experience in data migration and working with large datasets.
• Ability to work with version control systems like Git.
• Sound problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Banking or Securities domain is highly preferred.
• Exposure to Oracle Database 12c or higher.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
• Knowledge of financial data structures and reporting.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Basic understanding of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience working with Oracle APEX (optional but preferred).

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
