Job Title: Store Manager

Job Summary: The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the door
accessories hardware store, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, leading the
sales team, and maximizing profitability. The Store Manager ensures that the store operates
smoothly, efficiently, and meets all sales and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations:

Manage and oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked with door accessories hardware
products.

Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Inventory Management:

Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely reordering of stock.
Conduct regular inventory audits and manage stock rotation.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality products.
Staff Management:

Recruit, train, and supervise store staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and
knowledge.

Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during store hours.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
Financial Management:

Monitor store financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
Prepare and analyse sales reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Implement cost-saving measures and manage store expenses effectively.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar role in the hardware or retail industry.
Knowledge of door accessories hardware products is a plus.
Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in inventory management and retail software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Education:
â High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business administration or a related field is
preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving
stock.
Work Environment:
â The work is performed in a retail store setting, which may involve exposure to dust, noise,
and heavy lifting.
â Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required during specific tasks.
