Division: AVEVA


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers (System Integrators, OEMs, and End Users) via phone, email, and web-based channels.
  • Conduct software training sessions, acting as an instructor and mentor to users.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business challenges and optimize their use of AVEVA products.
  • Work with cross-functional teams from AVEVA and PIMA to enhance customer experience and product adoption.
  • Continuously develop technical expertise in AVEVA products, related software, and industry technologies.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
  • Participate in sprint reviews, demonstrating work and contributing to discussions and team decisions.

Required Experience & Skills:


1. Technical Skills:


  • SCADA & HMI Systems: Hands-on experience with Wonderware SCADA, System Platform, InTouch, and similar platforms.
  • Industrial Automation: Strong knowledge of PLCs, DCS, RTUs, and HMIs for design, programming, and troubleshooting.
  • SCADA Development Lifecycle: Understanding system architecture, data acquisition, visualization, and control.
  • Third-Party System Integration: Experience in integrating multiple PLCs, DCS, and external systems.
  • Programming & Scripting: Proficiency in C, C#, C++, .NET, and scripting languages (V8, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • SQL & Database Management: Experience with relational databases for SCADA data extraction and mapping.
  • Cloud & SaaS Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud-based industrial solutions and software installations.
  • Networking & Communication Protocols: Expertise in Ethernet, serial, wireless networks, and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Profibus, BACnet).
  • Graphics & UI Development: Ability to design HMI/UI graphics for SCADA applications.
  • Installation, Configuration & Troubleshooting: Experience in SCADA/HMI system installation, commissioning, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • System Testing & Validation: Expertise in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
  • Technical Documentation & Diagrams: Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams, flowcharts, Boolean logic, and cause-effect diagrams.

2. Non-Technical Skills:


  • Customer Relationship Management: Build strong client relationships and maintain professionalism in all engagements.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work with the Sales team to identify opportunities, provide technical support, and ensure solutions align with PIMA's strategic objectives.
  • Team Collaboration & Flexibility: Work in a dynamic team environment, adapting to evolving challenges and technical demands.
  • Training & Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior employees, fostering knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
  • Project Management & Documentation: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project) for reporting and documentation.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally abroad for presales, project delivery, and customer support.
