Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Ab initio Lead to join our self-organized engineering team, focusing on the design and development of software features that are essential for credit card consumers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and Innovate : Design and develop software features for credit card consumers, contributing to key components or applications.
• Leadership : Lead the engineering team through the complete development life cycle, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.
• Best Practices : Drive operational excellence, security, and quality practices across teams.
• Technology Contributions : Contribute to technical innovations within the team and across initiatives.
• Communication & Partnership : Communicate effectively and collaborate with engineering teams to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Code Reviews & Quality : Review code developed by others, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices.
• Estimation & Delivery : Estimate project timelines and provide justifications for delivery schedules.
• Advocate for Quality : Lead initiatives such as Pair Programming to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Requirements:

• Ab Initio Expertise : Deep understanding of Ab Initio technologies and their applications.
• Leadership Experience : Proven track record of leadership in delivering projects through the software development life cycle.
• Hands-on Development : Proficient in programming with Ab Initio GDE and Unix scripting .
• Effective Communication : Ability to partner across engineering teams, maximizing opportunities for inner-sourcing.
• Quality Advocate : Lead and advocate for quality processes, including Pair Programming.
• Technical Leadership : Ability to provide technical guidance and review solutions, identifying potential inefficiencies.
• Estimation Skills : Capable of estimating delivery timelines and managing resources efficiently.
• Familiarity with Jenkins Pipeline : Awareness of Jenkins pipeline principles.
• Agile Practices : Knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Knowledge : Experience with AWS interactions and file storage.
• Lambda Programming : Core understanding of Lambda programming.
• Problem-Solving in Regulated Environments : Comfortable working with complex, regulated systems.
