Job Title: QA Python Automation Test Engineer

Experience Range: 3+ years in Software Testing or QA

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong focus on Web UI and API automation, using tools such as Selenium WebDriver with Python. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, API testing, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines. You will work in an Agile environment to ensure the quality of our applications through comprehensive testing and continuous improvement.

• Web UI & API Automation: Design and implement automated tests for Web UI using Selenium WebDriver with Python, and API/SOAP testing using tools like Postman.
• Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of applications, reporting defects, and ensuring they meet the requirements.
• Test Management: Create test plans, test scenarios, and execute manual and automated tests to ensure full test coverage.
• API Testing: Use Postman for API/SOAP testing, ensuring functionality, reliability, and performance of APIs.
• Agile Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum methodology, tracking stories, bugs, and progress using JIRA.
• CI/CD Integration: Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, BitBucket, and Git.
• SQL Database Knowledge: Validate data integrity and perform backend testing using SQL queries.

• Automation Tools: Proficiency in Web UI automation using Selenium WebDriver with Python .
• API Testing: Strong experience with API/SOAP testing using Postman .
• Manual Testing: Experience in performing manual testing for web applications and APIs.
• Test Management: Ability to create Test Plans and Test Scenarios , and execute tests effectively.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment, tracking JIRA for stories, tasks, and bug management.
• CI/CD: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines , specifically with Jenkins , BitBucket , and Git for version control and continuous integration.
• SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and validating backend data.

• Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting for automating test processes.
• Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
• Cloud Testing: Experience in testing applications in cloud environments.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for documenting test cases, bugs, and communicating with both technical and non-technical teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Web UI Automation , API testing , and manual testing within an Agile environment.
