Position: Faculty for Computer Science & Engineering

About the Role:

The faculty will be responsible for teaching fundamental courses that belong to computer science and engineering. They are expected to deliver high-quality instruction covering fundamental and advanced concepts in these domains. They will ensure comprehensive syllabus coverage and maintain academic rigor while adapting their teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes. Fundamental courses are crucial in building a strong foundation for students in computing principles and technologies. Their primary responsibility is to deliver structured and engaging lectures that cover theoretical concepts, practical applications, and industry-relevant case studies. You have to take students from theory to applications through case studies. In addition to conducting lectures, they will include students in group discussions and prepare them for industry. The faculty will also prepare assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, update, and deliver curriculum content incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Conduct lectures, workshops, and numerical sessions on creating their fundamentals around industry applications and their usage.
• Guide students in practical applications, real-world case studies, and integration to various domains.
• Assess student progress through assignments, case studies, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
• Mentor students in industry-relevant projects, job readiness, and technical interview preparation.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant case studies and project-based learning.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in curriculum enhancement discussions and faculty development programs.
• Support students in case studies analysis to enhance their career prospects.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in fundamental courses, such as Computer System Architecture, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, and other core subjects.
• Programming Proficiency – Expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, and scripting for system programming and networking tasks.
• System Design & Analysis – Ability to explain processor architecture, memory hierarchy, OS processes, and database structures in detail.
• Network Protocols & Security – Understanding TCP/IP, network topologies, encryption methods, and cybersecurity concepts.
• Database Management – Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, normalization, transaction management, and database indexing.
• Linux/Unix & OS Concepts – Hands-on experience with Linux shell scripting, kernel-level programming, process management, and virtualization.
• Cloud Computing & Distributed Systems – Familiarity with AWS, Azure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud-based databases.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching fundamental courses to develop the basics of the students.
• Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring individuals' students or group projects.
• Ability to simplify complex concepts and make them accessible to students with varying levels of expertise.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain basic core concepts to develop students' fundamentals.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with no prior technical background in the computer domain.
• Experience fostering a collaborative, inclusive classroom environment that promotes diversity and active participation.
