About the Job

You will be a part of the Business Workflow Automation team, responsible for turning product requirements into designs, developing implementation plans, and creating integrations and automated initiatives for both On-Cloud and On-Premise platforms.

As a Software Engineer , you will be responsible for developing the service management framework , event management workflows , business application workflows , as well as integrations and tool capabilities . You will be at the forefront of IT Operations transformation , delivering cost savings, productivity gains, and user experience improvements .

We are looking for a talented, driven, and energetic individual to help accelerate our efforts, strengthen team skills, and contribute to our solutions-centric culture .

This role reports to the Manager of Business Workflow Automation .

Desirable Competencies

3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development .
Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and integrations .
Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall .
Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes.
2+ years of experience coding ServiceNow features or similar platforms.
Experience in developing, configuring, and customizing the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
Expertise in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code .
Conducting code reviews and quality control checks to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Debugging and fixing technical issues .
Producing and executing test cases to ensure software quality.
Documenting code and application functionality .
Staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in ServiceNow development.
ITIL Foundation level knowledge and familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, IT4IT is a plus.
Experience with Web Services, APIs, and database-level integrations/ETL .
Proficiency in Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services) and experience working in a SaaS environment .
Ability to drive design and strategy around automation tools.
Understanding of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other related technologies.
Must be fluent in English , both written and spoken.
A degree or equivalent qualification , preferably in Information Technology , with proven experience in technical development roles.
