Assistant Manager -Blending

Location- Plant-Patalganga (Near Karjat)

Role & responsibilities

• Manage overall Blending operation/ processes like raw material unloading (Tanker/ barrels), receipt of raw material, lube cell Operation, Bulk Loading, Viscosity Improver Operation, Heating /Oven Operation, and Handling of MHEs.
• Coordinate with QC & QA Dept to ensure blends quality is as per customer requirement.
• Ensuring the optimum stock level of all types of base oils, and additives as per PIAQA & HSSE standards.
• Coordinate with the Production planner for effective blending operations to ensure optimum utilization of blenders and other resources without compromising Quality, Cost, and HSSE standards
• Support and Provide timely guidance to blending executives in process troubleshooting, Lube cell operations, raw material charging, Heating /Oven Operation, breakdown analysis-related shutdown activities, etc.
• Ensure compliances of IMS 9001,14001,18000, IATF 16949 standards requirements. Audit compliances and non-conformance closure along with actions.
• Adherence to Petronas PIAQA guidelines and customer standards to ensure zero observations in internal and external audits.
• Implement effectively world-class manufacturing practices within the blending section as per Group WCM guidelines and initiatives from time to time.

Autonomous maintenance (JH) of the Blending Process area

Preferred candidate profile

• Education- B.E. / B. Tech in Chemical Engineering
• Relevant Experience About 5-10 years in plant operations/blending/filling. Working in batch processing, bottling, filling in Chemical industry, oil/lubricant industry, preferred.
