Job Description
- As the Head - Structure Design, you will be the driving force behind the structural design excellence of our projects
- The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in leading structure design teams, a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and IS codes, combined with extensive experience in delivering successful high residential building projects
- Provide strategic direction for the structural design department, aligning with the overall goals and vision of the company
- Collaborate with executive leadership to shape the long-term structural design strategy
- Lead and manage a team of structural design professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture within the structural design department
- Oversee the structural design process for all residential and building projects, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards
- Ensure seamless integration of structural design into overall project planning
- Bring advanced technical knowledge and expertise in structural design, providing solutions to complex engineering challenges
- Stay abreast of industry advancements and incorporate innovative design techniques
- Ensure strict adherence to relevant building codes, standards, and regulations in all structural designs
- Provide guidance to the team on interpreting and implementing IS code requirements Collaborate with project management teams to manage the structural design budget and allocate resources efficiently
- Optimize resource utilization and cost-effectiveness Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of structural designs
- Conduct regular quality checks throughout the design process
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on structural design clements
