Role & responsibilities
- Apply makeup to clients based on their preferences, occasion, and features.
- Perform skin assessments and offer makeup consultations to recommend products, techniques and skincare.
- Create looks for different events, such as weddings, parties and photo shoots.
- Stay up-to-date with makeup trends, techniques, and new products.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace, including sterilizing tools and products regularly.
- Assist in selecting makeup products and tools, including foundation shades, colors, and cosmetic brands for clients.
- Handle multiple clients and work efficiently under time constraints, especially during high-demand periods (e.g., weddings etc.).
- Build and maintain a loyal client base by providing excellent customer service and making personalized makeup recommendations.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven experience as a Makeup Artist with a strong portfolio demonstrating various makeup styles.
- Certification from a recognized makeup artist program or equivalent practical experience.
- Deep knowledge of makeup techniques, tools, and products for various skin tones and types.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of clients, from individuals to groups.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and implement client preferences.
