Role Overview:
The Wealth Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and managing relationships with High Networth Individuals (HNI), Ultra High Networth Individuals (UHNI), and Family Offices. This role focuses on promoting and distributing HDFC AMC's diverse product offerings, including Mutual Funds (MF), Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Alternative Investment Funds (AIF). The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of financial markets and a proven track record in wealth management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management & Business Development:
Acquisition & Expansion: Identify, prospect, and acquire new HNI/UHNI clients, Family Offices, and other relevant entities through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach.
Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their financial goals and risk appetite.
Portfolio Management: Introduce and recommend suitable MF, PMS, and AIF solutions from HDFC AMC's product basket to build and strengthen client portfolios.
Portfolio Review: Conduct regular portfolio reviews with clients, providing performance updates, market insights, and recommendations for adjustments.
Share of Wallet Growth: Deepen client relationships and increase the share of wallet for HDFC AMC by identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
Referral Generation: Leverage existing client relationships to generate referrals and expand the client base.
Networking: Actively participate in industry events, seminars, and networking opportunities to build and maintain a strong professional network.
2. Product Knowledge & Market Expertise:
Product Proficiency: Develop a thorough understanding of HDFC AMC's MF, PMS, and AIF product offerings, including their features, benefits, and performance.
Market Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact client portfolios.
Market Updates: Proactively share market updates, research reports, and investment insights with clients to enhance their understanding of the investment landscape.
3. Client Service & Compliance:
Service Excellence: Provide exceptional client service, addressing client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Client Experience Enhancement: Maximize client experience by providing personalized solutions, timely communication, and proactive support.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements (SEBI, AMFI, etc.) and HDFC AMC's internal policies and procedures.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and reporting.
4. Strategic Contribution:
Business Strategy Input: Provide feedback and insights on market trends and client needs to contribute to the development of business strategies.
Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: MBA in Finance, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable institution is highly preferred.
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in wealth management, relationship management, or financial services, preferably with a focus on HNI/UHNI clients.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as NISM (National Institute of Securities Markets) certifications are highly desirable.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products (MF, PMS, AIF), and wealth management principles.
