Paytm - Deputy General Manager - Corporate Finance - Merger & Acquisitions (3-5 yrs)

About the team:

This team is responsible for strategic decisions to grow and restructure its business, establish strategic partnerships, and/or achieve organizational excellence. The purpose of Corp Dev is to create opportunities for the company through actions such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures, and deals that leverage the value of the company's business platform

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate M&A opportunities (acquisition/divestment) and assist in providing preliminary views

- Should be able to execute M&A transactions on end to end basis

- Preparing Investment committee presentations, board presentations etc.

- Independent networking and conversation with target buyers/ sellers

- Other day-to-day tasks

Education and Experience :

- 3-5Years of experience in M&A team in a corporate

- CA or MBA

- Investment bankers or those having experience working with VC or with an M&A Firm are preferred.
