Job Description
- Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the overall objectives of the business unit
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to support decision-making processes
- Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Budgeting and Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process for the business unit, working closely with department heads and stakeholders
- Prepare periodic forecasts and variance analysis to assess budget performance and identify areas for improvement
- Provide guidance and recommendations to management on budget adjustments and resource allocation
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Cost Management and Optimization:Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Implement cost control measures and monitor expenses to achieve budget targets and maximize profitability
- Evaluate capital investment proposals and provide financial analysis to support investment decisions
- Financial Risk Management:Assess financial risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the financial health of the business unit
- Monitor market trends, currency fluctuations, and regulatory changes that may impact financial performance
- Maintain effective internal controls and compliance processes to mitigate financial risks and ensure integrity of financial data
