Outbrain is seeking an IT Help Desk Specialist to join our global Information Technology team, supporting our offices across Asia and an employee population of around 100-150 people. Based out of our Gurugramv office and reporting to the APAC IT Team Leader, we are looking for a Help Desk Specialist who is a solution-driven problem solver that can balance corporate demands within a fast paced environment.

The candidate should be an energetic self-starter who enjoys working on operational tasks, proactive in delivering the best possible customer experience in a dynamic environment.
As the only Help Desk Specialist who supports APAC, the candidate will be responsible for all the day-to-day end-users support and IT operation needs. Traveling is expected between our APAC locations. The IT Help Desk Specialist will mainly support our end-users with all their day-to-day IT needs. In addition, maintain our network and desktop infrastructure throughout Outbrain's locations in Asia.
As the sole IT Help Desk on the ground in India, the successful candidate must be a self-starter with the confidence and experience to provide day-to-day operation and user support, handle the IT services in our APAC locations and execute strategic IT projects while interacting with the different departments and stakeholders. What Youll Be Doing. Your first six months will look like this:. In your first few weeks you will be introduced to Outbrains IT processes and Tools, learn how to support the end users, maintain the networking environment and collaborate with other team members across the department.
You will work with Google workspace, Mac and Microsoft OS and tools, Slack,, Zoom conferencing systems and more. What Youll Bring. You are likely to have 2-3 years of relevant Help Desk experience, supporting end users on their daily IT needs. MAC laptop support experience/ Windows laptop/desktop support Essential.
Experience supporting Multi OS platforms Essential. Have a basic LAN/WAN knowledge, security and Telecoms Essential. Other Skills/Experience. You must have demonstrable experience.
Flexible and can understand and overcome challenges head on. Great people skills and the ability to work in collaboration with other team members & internal customers. Communication skills: High level of English is required (verbal and written). Ability to travel to APAC offices sometimes at relatively short notice.
