We are seeking a skilled and motivated GCP Data Engineer with hands-on experience in BigQuery and DBT to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, a deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, and a passion for optimizing data workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Data Pipeline Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using DBT to transform raw data into actionable insights.

- BigQuery Management : Utilize Google BigQuery for efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

- ETL Processes : Develop and manage ETL processes to ingest data from various sources into the data warehouse.

- Collaboration : Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

- Performance Optimization : Monitor and optimize data workflows to ensure low latency and high reliability.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of data architectures, processes, and workflows.

Required Qualifications :

- Experience : 5-8 years of professional experience in data engineering, with a significant focus on GCP, BigQuery, and DBT.

- Technical Proficiency : Strong expertise in SQL and experience with GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Functions.

- Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and implement effective solutions.

- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Adaptability : Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment with a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : GCP Professional Data Engineer certification is a plus.

- Additional Tools : Experience with other data tools and platforms, such as Apache Beam or Airflow.

- Domain Knowledge : Familiarity with industry-specific data challenges and regulatory requirements.
