Job Description
- Bring up the SBC product in Virtualization, Baremetal and Cloud Native Environments
- Architect, Design, implement and maintain data path secure software for OCSBC products in Virtualization and cloud native environments.
- Scale the Performance and Capacity of the system in virtualization and cloud native environments.
- Maintain and enhance existing platform functionality in response to needs.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineering teams throughout the release cycle.
- Write functional and design specifications as required.
- Contribute to evolving architecture, discussions, and solutions.
- Prior experience in high-capacity data path development in virtualization/cloud-native Environment is a must.
- Must understand the hypervisors functionality, configuration, and performance tunings (KVM, VMWare, libvirt)
- Must have working experience with various network IO modes like SRIOV, PCI-PT and Paravirtual.
- Must have deeper understanding of DPDK framework and poll-mode drivers for various NIC models (ex: Intel, Mellanox, Broadcom)
- Strong knowledge of Operating System fundamentals and Network troubleshooting skills (L2 and L3 layer protocols) is a must.
- Working experience in OpenStack and Kubernetes environments is desirable
- Prior experience in bringing up large scale networking/telco applications in virtualization, cloud-native and BareMetal environments is desirable
- C/C++, Python, Terraform, Shell Scripting experience is a must
- The candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skill and must be able to work independently.
