Job Description
- Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and market demands.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, etc.) to create clear and concise product requirements and user stories.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and development teams to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines.
- Ensure that the product development aligns with the company s broader vision and strategy.
- Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions, prioritize features, and balance short-term vs. long-term goals.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings to monitor progress and provide feedback.
- Own the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including feature definition, testing, and post-launch improvements.
- Ensure the successful implementation of product releases by working with QA, support teams, and marketing teams.
- Clearly communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, including leadership teams.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a similar role in product development.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and user stories.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Proficient in using product management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with data analysis, customer research, and usability testing.
- Knowledge of [insert specific industry or domain relevant to the role, if any].
- Experience working in [insert industry/sector].
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and technical terminology.
- Certification in Product Ownership (CSPO, PSPO) or related certifications is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
