Job Title: Project and Operations Assistant at Tata Chemicals, Innovation Center ( On 3rd Party Roles)
Frequency of travel requires Moderate

Job Purpose: To provide site-related and operations-related support for Essential oils and Bio-Energy projects at Nanded and Parbhani sites respectively.

Job Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identifying the requirements for growing essential oil crops optimally using hydroponics and aeroponics
• Searching potential suppliers, buyers, and traders of essential oils and connect with them.
• Analysis of essential oils and preparation of COA
• Developing the extraction process of essential oils and supporting the extraction of essential oil
• Preparing the documents/brochures for essential oils
• Supporting/ assisting new initiatives for Nanded Hydroponics/Aeroponics unit
• Supplying samples, keeping track, and taking regular follow-ups.
• To connect with Vendors and technology suppliers to understand the feasibility of the technology
• To connect with the customers of technology providers, if possible, to understand the success rates of the technologies
• To arrive at the preliminary project cost of the technologies from available open resources like Internet, published journals
• To monitor the pilot trials of different technologies conducted on the vendors side and prepare reports on the trials.

KPI:

Able to deliver on hydroponics, essential oils and bioenergy deliverables, analyze the samples and connect with the customers and vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Postgraduate Chemistry/Chemical Engineering including Diploma
• Basic knowledge of Hydroponics, aeroponics, and essential oils.
• Good to Medium Knowledge in vendor evaluation
• Basic knowledge of Finance - like ROI, Working capital, maintenance cost, variable cost etc
  

Essential Attributes:

• Quick learner and ability to work on essential oils and bioenergy domains, connect with the vendors and customers.
• Proficient in MS power point
• Basic knowledge in MS Excel and MS word
