- The Pharmacy Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the work of pharmacists by providing excellent customer service to patients, managing inventory, dispensing medications, and ensuring the pharmacy operates efficiently
- Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medication to patients, including retrieving and labeling medication and providing information on dosage and administration
- Manage inventory, including receiving and stocking medication, tracking inventory levels, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment
- Assist with patient billing and insurance claims, including processing payments and communicating with insurance companies
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, including answering questions and providing information on medication use and side effects
