Key Responsibilities :
1. DevOps & Release Management
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Copado.
- Automate deployment processes across Salesforce orgs (Dev, QA, UAT, Prod).
- Implement version control strategies using Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
- Troubleshoot merge conflicts, deployment errors, and environment issues.
- Manage branching, merging, and rollback strategies for deployments.
2. Environment & Change Management
- Oversee Salesforce environment management (sandbox refreshes, data migrations).
- Manage Copado User Stories & Pipelines for release tracking.
- Enforce change management policies and compliance best practices.
- Optimize deployment strategies for improved efficiency and reliability.
3. Quality, Security & Compliance
- Ensure code quality standards using PMD, SonarQube, or other tools.
- Implement automated testing (unit testing, regression testing) before deployments.
- Monitor security compliance and enforce access controls in Salesforce environments.
- Perform impact analysis to prevent disruptions in production.
4. Collaboration & Documentation
- Work closely with Salesforce Developers, Admins, and Architects to streamline DevOps processes.
- Provide training on Git workflows, Copado best practices, and deployment automation.
- Document deployment strategies, troubleshooting steps, and best practices.
Must Haves :
- 5+ years of experience, who will manage all code deployments and handle administrative requests within Salesforce.
- Candidate should have Expert knowledge and Hands-on experience of Copado and familiarity with Salesforce deployment process.
- Should be familiar with other Salesforce Devops tools such as Change Sets, Salesforce CLI, GIT and other tools such as Jira
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automations using Copado.
- Raise and handle Salesforce and Copado Support requests as and when needed.
- Drive improvements in DevOps processes and offer expert guidance.
- Should have good knowledge of Permissions, Permission Sets, Public Groups, Queues, and overall user management within Salesforce.
- Should be able to manage the Adhoc requests for user management, data access etc.
- Proven ability to independently handle responsibilities from day one with minimal onboarding.
- Copado and Salesforce Administrator Certification are a plus but optional.
