About the Team

The team that this role will be part of is a dynamic and collaborative group located in Bangalore, dedicated to advancing hybrid cloud solutions at Nutanix. You will report to the Sr. Manager Hiring Manager, who is known for promoting a supportive and collaborative work environment. The manager emphasizes the importance of teamwork and respects the opinions of all team members, creating an atmosphere where feedback is welcomed and valued.

Your Role

• Understand and adhere to product and coding standards within the first 2 to 4 weeks.
• Familiarize with the new test framework and automation guidelines to enhance testing efficiency.
• Perform regression testing and validate legacy features while documenting results.
• Gradually take on the responsibility of writing, automating, and executing tests for new features.
• Engage in continuous learning about Azure and cloud technologies to strengthen skill sets.
• Participate actively in team meetings, providing constructive feedback and contributing to project discussions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster effective communication and teamwork.
• Contribute to the development of hybrid cloud solutions, identifying opportunities for innovative approaches.

What You Will Bring

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of software QA engineering experience.
• Experience in Software Development or Test Automation in Python.
• Basic knowledge of TCP-IP Suite of protocols (Ethernet, VLAN, IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS)
• Have expertise with automation and building tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Locust and Jenkins
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude towards learning and collaboration.
• Ability to quickly adapt and contribute from day one.
• Plus: Understanding of virtualization concepts - compute/storage/network virtualization
