Java Developer - Microservices Architecture (5-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer (5-7 years) to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud technologies. You will be responsible for designing and developing backend systems, ensuring security, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend applications using Java (Java 8/11/17), Spring Boot, and Hibernate.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.

- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth system functionality.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers.

- Implement best practices for security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and data protection.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, following coding standards.

- Ensure unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews for maintaining code quality.

- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in Java development.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17) and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.).

- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and REST API development.

- Experience working with SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

- Expertise in ORM frameworks like Hibernate/JPA.

- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance tuning.

- Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD).

- Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and logging tools (Log4j, SLF4J).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
