Job Summary:

We are seeking a Site Accountant to manage financial transactions, expenses, and reporting at project or construction sites. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Transactions & Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for site-related transactions.

Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests for site activities.

Manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation for all site expenses.

Record and reconcile daily transactions in accounting systems.

3. Payroll & Compliance:

Handle site workers payroll calculations, attendance tracking, and wage disbursement.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and company policies.

Maintain records for statutory deductions (e.g., taxes, provident fund, insurance).

4. Financial Reporting & Auditing:

Conduct regular reconciliations of cash, bank transactions, and vendor accounts.

5. Vendor & Procurement Support:

Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for financial documentation and payments.

Verify bills, delivery notes, and contracts before processing payments.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 1 years of accounting experience, preferably in site-based roles (construction, manufacturing, infrastructure, etc.).

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally) and Microsoft Excel.

Ability to work independently in a field environment and manage multiple tasks.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in construction, real estate, infrastructure, or field-based operations.

Work Environment:

On-site role with frequent interaction with project teams, vendors, and finance departments.
