We are seeking a data-driven and creative SEO Specialist to lead the search engine optimization efforts for our Liquor Ecommerce Store . The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving organic traffic, improving search rankings, and increasing visibility across search engines. You will collaborate with the marketing and content teams to optimize all aspects of the ecommerce website, ensuring that our liquor products rank well in highly competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to drive traffic, improve search rankings, and increase conversions for the liquor ecommerce website.
Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and new ranking opportunities.
Optimize on-page SEO elements such as meta tags, headings, alt text, and URL structures for product pages, category pages, and blog posts.
Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues such as broken links, site speed optimization, mobile usability, and crawl errors.
Work closely with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content that aligns with business goals, focusing on liquor products, categories, and industry trends.

Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics , Google Search Console , SEMrush , and Ahrefs to measure the effectiveness of SEO strategies.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends , algorithm updates, and best practices in the ecommerce industry.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure that SEO recommendations are implemented correctly, including structured data, site architecture, and technical enhancements.
Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps in their SEO strategies and explore opportunities for the ecommerce store to rank higher.
Track, report, and provide insights on SEO performance, organic traffic, and key SEO metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance website visibility.
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving search rankings and driving organic traffic to ecommerce websites.
Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, technical SEO , and off-page SEO best practices.
Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics , Google Search Console , SEMrush , Ahrefs , Moz , and other related platforms.
Familiarity with keyword research tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ubersuggest, or KWFinder.
Understanding of ecommerce SEO challenges, including optimizing product pages, category structures, and managing large inventories.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
Experience with content marketing strategies and working with content teams to create optimized content.
Strong understanding of local SEO strategies for driving traffic to stores in specific locations, if applicable.
Ability to stay updated with changes in search engine algorithms and continuously adapt strategies.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
