We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and will be responsible for ensuring efficient, reliable, and scalable cloud deployments. You will work closely with development teams to enhance the DevOps processes and automate infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and streamline the development lifecycle.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to automate resource provisioning.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and costs using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
Work collaboratively with software engineering teams to understand application needs and translate them into reliable, secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
Automate routine operational tasks, such as backups, log management, and patching, to improve system reliability and reduce manual work.
Manage security and compliance aspects by implementing best practices like Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC configuration, and security groups.
Assist in cloud architecture design and provide technical guidance for system scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
Document system architecture, processes, and procedures, and provide support to internal teams for ongoing cloud-based projects.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps to improve the company s infrastructure and processes.
Skills and Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Route 53, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and Auto Scaling.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or ECS.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
Understanding of networking concepts (VPC, DNS, load balancers, firewalls) and cloud security best practices.
Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
