Business Analyst Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform statistical analysis and use big data technologies to interpret data and generate reports.

 • Utilize software such as Sage, Mathematica, and SPSS, for in-depth data analysis.

 • Create detailed reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Excel (including advanced features), Tableau, and Power BI. 

• Conduct data forecasting and predictive analysis to anticipate business trends and outcomes. 
• Develop and implement models to support business decision-making processes. 
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess business performance. 
• Identify areas for improvement and provide strategic recommendations. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. 
• Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. 
• 8-10 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field. 
• Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and other data tools to identify trends, patterns, and insights. 
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Sage, Mathematica, SPSS). 
• Advanced skills in Excel, including macros and complex functions. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Experience with statistical analysis, modeling, and big data technologies.
• Knowledge of industry-specific trends and business practices is preferred
