Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate - Finance and Accounts to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with the preparation and maintenance of financial records, support monthly and annual financial reporting, manage accounts payable and receivable, and help ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key part in the day-to-day financial operations and work closely with senior finance staff to contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes by ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring that invoices are processed and payments are received on time.
Assist in reconciling bank accounts and general ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and process journal entries for various financial transactions.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including tracking expenses and revenues.
Assist with the preparation of tax filings and compliance with applicable financial regulations.
Help maintain proper documentation of financial transactions for audit purposes.
Work with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in financial records and respond to financial queries.
Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial presentations for senior leadership.
Help ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and relevant legal requirements.
Support internal and external audits as required.
