Network Engineer-2 To 5 Years-Netcon-Mumbai

Role & responsibilities :

• Perform regular network maintenance, including firmware updates, system backups, and network performance tuning.
• Optimize network performance by adjusting configurations, analyzing traffic patterns, and ensuring bandwidth is effectively utilized.
  
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or network administration.
• Proven experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues promptly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems, including performance issues, downtime, and hardware failures.
• Utilize network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG) to ensure the network is performing optimally.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and other networking protocols.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto).
• Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools.
• Experience with network security protocols and concepts.
