Role & responsibilities
- Involved in proactive implementation of companies EHS policy.
- Promote a positive EHS culture that delivers positive comments & engage all employees in continuous improvement in EHS performances.
- Coordinating with contractors management for implementation of EHS at the site.
- Conduct safety orientation for all new employees before starting work on site.
- Conduct weekly safety meeting with all contractors.
- Monitoring & controlling the work permit system.
- Perform health & safety inspection producing a detailed inspection of finding.
- Promote interest & active participation by supervisors, employees, contractors in accident & fire preventing activities.
- Supervising & controlling waste disposals & environmental aspects.
- Perform weekly site audit on equipment, health, safety and environment conditions.
- Maintain the safety records for auditing and reporting.
- Providing First aid Facilities for Labors & staff.
- Preparation & submission of Monthly safety reports to the higher management.
- Preparing presentation for safety meetings.
- Conduct EHS review meeting.
- Promote Companies EHS culture based on ISO standards like ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental management, ISO45001:2015 for Health Safety management.
- Preparation and drive HIRAC(Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Control.
- Compliance external EHS relevant audit like ESGDD(Environment, Social Governance and Due Diligence), MPCB(Maharashtra Pollution Control Board) or CPCB(Central Pollution Control Board) or other local governments statutory requirements.
- Monitoring and supporting the management to compliance for IGBC (Indian green Building Certification activities) activities.
- Monitoring Daily ongoing activities and prior plan in any certain risky activity.
- Conduct EHS relevant training like Induction training, TBT, Height Work training, Hot Work training, Fire Drill, Emergency Rescue training, Motivational awareness etc.
- Highlighting EHS related Issues if any and resolve by taking higher management attention.
- Drive and implement integrated management System.
Preferred candidate profile
Must have certifications like ADIS from MSBTE, NEBOSH, ISOH
Should be from Real estate background with residential high-rise experience.
