Position Name: Governance Analyst

Qualification and experience criteria:

5+ years of experience in audits, policies and process review • B.Tech / B.Sc / B.Com / BA / BCA or equivalent .

Certifications in IS or Risk Audit Management (e.g., ISMS Lead Audit,)

Roles and Responsibilities

• The position is responsible for executing activities related to Audit Management, review of information security policy, procedure and coordination with external agencies. The candidate must have an understanding about internal and third-party audits, ISO27001 framework, experience in performing risk assessments, monitoring risks and report writing, etc.
• Analyze the reports / checklist submitted by external ecosystem partner from IS and risk perspective.
• Follow up with internal division and interaction with external parties to ensure that security controls are in place.
• Review of information security policies, checklist and procedure for external ecosystem partners.
• Responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing strategies to optimize business processes
• Report and dashboard preparation for higher management providing them consolidated view of the security posture of the external ecosystem partner. Perform risk assessments at inherent and residual levels basis risk assessment scales.
• Understand business and industry issues and trends to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
• Review and identify control weaknesses in key business processes.
• Support the Information security function in creating awareness in risk management.

Skills and Competency-

• Understanding of IS audit reports and checklists from process perspective. Expertise in content creation and process documentation
• Understanding of business processes, internal control concepts, business risk and control frameworks is an added advantage
