Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to serve as the Manager Corporate Strategy working closely with the Director General & other leaders. This strategic role will provide invaluable support and guidance to the Director General & other leaders, playing a pivotal part in driving the institution's success. You will be an integral part of the Advisory team reporting to the Director General, acting as a trusted advisor, confidant, and proactive executor of initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Management:
- Work closely with the Director General & other leaders to develop and implement the institution's strategic vision and operational goals.
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of institutional data, performance metrics, and sector trends to inform strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives, with a focus on interdepartmental collaboration and efficiency.
Operational Excellence:
- Drive process optimization and identify opportunities for improvement in the institution's overall operations.
- Act as a liaison between the Director General and senior leadership, faculty, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Lead the coordination and preparation of meetings, presentations, and communication materials.
Executive Support:
- Conduct confidential research and analysis on critical issues and provide objective recommendations to the Director General & other leaders.
- Draft and edit high-level correspondence, documents, and speeches for the Director General.
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with exceptional discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration, education, public policy, or a related field, preferably with additional relevant professional certifications.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a senior administrative or leadership role within a complex organization, ideally in the education sector or consulting.
- Proven track record of success in strategic planning, project management, and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively under pressure.
