The Sales Business Analyst will report to VP - Sales & Marketing , NACL Industries Ltd.

We are seeking a Sales Business Analyst to lead the implementation of a Retail Sales Enablement Platform within our organization. This role will act as a liaison between the Sales and Digital teams, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into digital solutions. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in field sales, coupled with an understanding of digital tools, analytics, and business processes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Retail Sales Enablement Platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Work closely with sales teams, digital transformation teams, IT, and third-party vendors to gather and document business requirements.

• Analyse existing sales processes and identify areas where digital tools can improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with Sales & IT leadership to define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting metrics for tracking platform adoption and impact.

• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to onboard sales teams onto the platform.

• Act as a bridge between sales field teams and digital teams, ensuring that platform functionality addresses the real-world needs of sales representatives.

• Provide continuous support post-implementation, gathering feedback and driving enhancements. Monitor and analyse system performance, adoption rates, and user feedback, recommending improvements as needed.

• Ensure compliance with data integrity and security guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in a field sales role within the agrichemical, FMCG, or distribution industry.
• Strong understanding of sales processes, distributor/retailer interactions, and customer engagement strategies.
• Experience working with Sales enablement platforms, CRM tools, or digital sales applications.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with IT teams.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in conducting user training and change management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in sales transformation or digital initiatives within the agrichemical/FMCG sector.
• Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, or other enterprise CRM tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data visualization tools.
• Understanding of the Indian agriculture and retail distribution network.
