Social Media Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Social Media Manager to join our team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to increase online presence and donor engagement across various platforms. You will work closely with the leadership team to ensure consistent messaging, tone, and voice for the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement social media strategies that align with our overall goals.
• Plan and execute campaigns across social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn,  and others.
• Conduct market research to stay current with trends and understand audience preferences.
• Content Creation:
• Create compelling, high-quality content (posts, videos, images, infographics, etc.) tailored for each platform.
• Work with the design and content teams to develop visually appealing and brand-consistent content.
• Write clear, engaging, and creative captions, hashtags, and other content to increase donor engagement
• Community Engagement:
• Engage with followers and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor social media platforms for discussions about the brand, responding to mentions and participating in conversations.
• Build and manage relationships with influencers, partners, and customers.
• Analytics & Reporting:
• Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic, etc.).
• Use data to optimize campaigns, improve content, and ensure the success of social media activities.
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to management.
• Brand Consistency:
• Ensure that all social media content aligns with the brand's voice, mission, and values.
• Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels.
• Collaboration & Coordination:
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns and initiatives are executed seamlessly.
• Assist in the development of advertising strategies and paid social media campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Experience with social media management tools
• Familiarity with graphic design and video editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze performance metrics.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SEO, paid social media campaigns, and influencer marketing.
• Experience with email marketing or blogging.
• Experience working with online communities and building brand advocacy.
