Position Overview:
Role Description:
- We are seeking a seasoned Senior Executive for Fundraising to lead our efforts in securing funds from corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, grants, institutional donors, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs).
- This critical role involves building a dynamic team, cultivating strategic partnerships, developing impactful proposals and expanding funding opportunities to strengthen and scale our education programs nationwide.
- Additionally, the role encompasses identifying and networking with potential donors to maximize resource mobilization.
Reports to: CEO/CFO and Head of Resources
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Research & Proposal Development:
- Identify and research potential sponsors, institutional donors, corporates, and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs).
- Develop customized concept notes, proposals, and templates for donors.
Donor Engagement & Retention :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing donors through reports, email updates, and personalized communication.
- Provide timely data and insights to support team members in preparing donor-specific reports.
Team Leadership and Mentoring :
- Build and oversee an effective fundraising team focused on CSR, grants, foundations and institutional funding.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute impactful fundraising events and campaigns.
- Collaborate with volunteers and team members to maximize event outcomes.
- Leverage digital platforms to design and manage campaigns aimed at expanding the digital donor -network.
- Utilize data analytics to assess campaign performance and inform future strategies.
Networking & Partnerships:
- Proactively network with potential institutional donors, corporates, and HNIs in collaboration with the program team.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of sponsors and donor activities.
- Support cross-functional initiatives as assigned by the Head of Resources Department and CEO.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Marketing, Social Work, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of fundraising experience; prior managerial experience is an advantage.
- Preferred experience in social sector fundraising .
