Job Description
- Test Automation tasks are inclusive of the following but are not limited to Develop script using Python , Pytest Working knowledge of selenium Perform requirement analysis and
- Develop Test plans and test cases Automation for TCs Automate the targeted test cases for each release cycle (P0, P1, P2 and P3) Follow up with the
- Development team on blockers The number of TCs to automate will be based on the new feature introduction per release for each component Code review approval to be done by Nutanix Automated
- TCs must pass in with anticipated failures (tracked by bugs) Automated TCs to be available in QP meeting the specified QI percentage
- Reporting product issues, fixing test issues and bugs improvement verification Regression testing:Regression tasks are inclusive of the following
- Running the regression-ready TC cases as per the SLA on active branches API automation tests execution -Weekly and Nightly runs
- Regression testing of JIRA tickets and maintenance of release cadence Integrating new TCs to regression [incremental per release] Debug and triaging failures Fix the Test Bug issues, including script errors, enhancements Publishing status reports Maintaining the test environment (upgrade images, fix issues etc)
- Regularly need to assess the effectiveness of TCs, duplication, run time, false failures, debug ability, maintainability of TCs etc
