Plant Head: SS Welded & Seamless Tubes & Pipes

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Head to oversee the production of SS Welded Tubes & Pipes in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have 15-20 years of experience in plant operations, with a deep understanding of the welded tube & pipe industry, factory management, production processes, and team leadership. The Plant Head will be responsible for independently handling all aspects of the factory's day-to-day operations and leading a team of up to 100 people.

Job responsibilities:

1. Manage daily operations of SS Welded & Seamless Tubes & Pipes production to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing.
2. Lead and supervise a team of 100 employees to drive productivity, team development, and high performance.
3. Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet targets while optimizing resource allocation and efficiency.
4. Implement and maintain quality control systems to meet industry standards and ensure product consistency.
5. Control operational budgets and costs, identifying opportunities for reducing expenses without affecting quality.
6. Continuously improve production processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency across the plant.
7. Oversee plant equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
8. Enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain a safe and compliant working environment.

Desired Skills:

• In-depth experience in managing SS welded tubes & pipes manufacturing operations.
• Expertise in production planning, process optimization, and quality control in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a large team effectively.
• Problem-solving ability with a hands-on approach to managing production challenges.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualification and Experience:

• BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 15-20 years of experience in manufacturing operations, specifically in the production of SS welded tubes & pipes.
• Proven experience in managing a large team (up to 100 people).
• Age Limit: 45-50 years.
• Strong background in factory management, operations, and process improvement.
