Senior Java Developer

Role & responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems.
• Standardize backend frameworks and architectures in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead and optimize the Golang codebase, ensuring best practices and maintainability.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and drive innovation with emerging technologies.

2. Team Mentorship

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers to enhance technical skills.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and promote backend best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflows and engineering excellence.

3. Development Excellence

• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.
• Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure robust API design and well-architected microservices.

Identify and resolve technical debt, continuously improving system maintainability.

Preferred candidate profile

8+ years of backend development experience with Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
✅ Strong understanding of system architecture, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
✅ Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
✅ Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
✅ Passion for learning and adopting Golang to modernize backend services.
✅ Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, and DevOps best practices.
✅ A growth mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technology initiatives.

Nice to Have-

➕ Hands-on experience in Golang or a strong willingness to transition from Java.
➕ Expertise in AWS, troubleshooting strategies, production stability, and monitoring enhancements.
➕ Experience with performance tuning, distributed systems, and high-availability architectures.
